About Our Company
Blake Realty was founded in 1922 by Samuel E. Blake and in 1954 was incorporated as Blake Realty, Inc. In 1968 the first branch was opened in Amsterdam, NY and in 1970 divisions were developed to serve various segments of our business including residential, commercial, relocation, investment and development, appraisal, rental and a funding company.
Since the 1970's Blake Realty has actively engaged in an extensive merger and acquisition campaign, creating affiliations with 18 leading real estate companies serving various areas of Northeastern New York.
Through these efforts Blake Realty has attracted many of the top professionals in our industry and expanded our marketplace to cover an area of more than 6,500 square miles.
The most dramatic change in our organization took place in June, 1992, when Blake Realty, Inc. became part of the fastest growing real estate company in the world, The Prudential Real Estate Affiliates. This change was implemented to position our company and our agents to best meet the needs of the 1990's and beyond.
Having entered the new millenium, PREA is prepared to face the challenges of the Real Estate Industry by providing our sales associates, clients and customers with the most innovative marketing sales concepts available. The Prudential Portfolio and our Customer Service Department.
In our goals to help our sales agents become the most successful in the industry, our training program is second to none, with a state of the art training facility and full time training director. Training programs are available for both the new agent and the experienced agent on both a local and national level.
